Squats and current occupations, such as Notre-Dame-des-Landes or Bure (France), high point of contestations are seeking for a politic of autonomy, supported by “forms of life” encouraging the coherence between way of living and thinking and practical activity. What we call form-occupation is opening a gap in time and space by exploring various forms of life that are escaping from social reality and from the capitalist system. The article exposes many of these forms of life in the Zones to be defended (Zad) that reconcile the sensible world and the power of acting.
