The author denounces the 2007 “Protection of Childhood” reform, the amplitude of which has been as large that it now turns out to be impossible and fundamentally discriminating: it(s) help-measures may well be collectively bundeled under the signifyer “childhood in danger,” in truth they are fondamentally different. This leads to an “administrative police.” Hence, protection is turning into a challenge: the preservation of a democratic space which protects and respects the rights of both families and children.
