From the family computer to the smartphone of a minor in care, technical devices are intruding on foster care and require adjustments to be made in order to co-habit with devices and their related uses. What role do foster families play in supporting minors in a connected world? This article looks at the specific features of fostering within the care system through the particular prism of young people’s use of socio-digital devices.
