Fabio Giomi is a historian, CNRS research fellow and member of the Centre d'études turques, ottomanes, balkaniques et centrasiatiques (UMR 8032, CNRS/EHESS/Collège de France) in Paris. A specialist in the history of women and gender in Southeast Europe, he is the author of Making Muslim Women European.
