Élisabeth Schmit holds a doctorate in medieval history from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and is an associate member of LaMOP. Her research focuses on the political history of justice, and more specifically on judicial practices in the late Middle Ages in the kingdom of France.
