In this text, we try to confront the dynamics of innovation according to technical anthropology, thanks to an experience that we are undertaking within the field of musical computer science: “connected armchairs” or “joystick chair”. We describe the process in a reflexive and comprehensive manner, while putting it into perspective with a material anthropology of techniques.
