Thierry Michot is a university professor and was the director of the Laboratory for Studies and Research in Sociology (LABERS) at the University of Brest from 2019 to 2021. With his academic background as a researcher, research project leader, and thesis supervisor, he has significant experience in managing collective research, particularly interdisciplinary projects using mixed methodologies. The interview was organized by Servane Le Clinche and Patrick Bouchet via video conference following the conference on “Research collectives and collective research in sports management” hosted by the Learned Society for Sports Management (S2MS) in Corte.
