The author discusses the psychic effects of a voluntary and imposed non-transmission, associated with a denial of identity. An example is given of an analytical treatment agreed upon despite the radical imposition of the cut with the past. This “analysis nonetheless”, conducted under the banner of paradoxicality and the negative, at least allowed for a partial reconstruction of the missing history from the history of the treatment.
