The literature on organizational creativity is driven by multiple approaches, which primarily analyze creativity at the individual and group levels. A recent contribution to this body of work is the organizational capabilities approach, which argues that the creative capabilities of organizations are based on routines that facilitate creative acts and the production of valuable ideas, such as equipment, openness, socialization, agility, and idea management. Creativity therefore emerges as a complex organizational capacity that drives dynamic and innovative capabilities by providing essential ideas for organizational evolution and renewal.
