The aim of this paper is to deny the existence of a rule such as οὐδεὶς οὐκ ἦλθεν, according to which, when a N-word is used before a propositional negation, the two negations have an affirmative meaning. The occurrences that account for the elaboration of this “rule” receive an explanation.
