This research focuses on an experiment concerning careers education for secondary school students from disadvantaged neighbourhoods. Based on the involvement of external operators linked to the business world, the experiment aims to support pupils with the courses they choose and to help them “be enterprising”. The qualitative survey carried out among the trainers and teachers, or management staff, of these secondary schools underlines the challenges and the difficulties of this project, due in particular to the varying expectations of the different actors involved.
