Electricity is a vector with a magnitude and a direction. It is subject to the changes in society and government. In this article, City Mine(d) looks at electricity as a vector for social change. We provide a lens by which to look at the challenges society is faced with, referred to as the “tough issues” we meet, and then offer some insights into our approach of social innovation, before applying this to the electricity sector.
