This article argues for a reframing of the notion of collapse, necessary to neutralize some of its perverse effects, while maintaining its mobilizing virtues. It suggests to draw inspiration from the notion of undercommons, as elaborated by Stefano Harney & Fred Moten in 2013, which is inspired by collective forms of life and thought cultivated in the Black Radical Tradition, by those who came as slaves and subalterns from the hold of Plantacionocene colonization.
