In the aviation industry, it is not impossible that one day personalized medicine will be used to assess the reliability of pilots. Predictive maintenance, its twin sister in the world of objects, is already based on the collection and processing of multiple data of aircrafts and organizations. Personalized medicine and predictive maintenance appear as social practices participating in a double movement of technical rationalization: that of the social understood as a result of a construction of oneself and others, and that of the lived world under the effect of the « disintegrity » of humans. Would the human factor then become the dominant criterion of a secure society?
