This paper analyzes the increasing discrepancy between the higher levels of desynchronization observed across France and the insufficient responses to this phenomenon at the level of local public policies. Statistical data stress the worsening of inequalities when dealing with the collective and individual rhythms generated by the acceleration of professional and personal activities. The paper analyzes this discrepancy from two points of view: first, an insufficient taking into account of the dilated “spaces-times” on the part of political agents; then, the insufficient taking into account of propositions made by the people themselves who based on their daily use of their territory, can improve local policies with interfaces such as the Offices of Time.
