English
A fee is a rudimentary, crude and confused form of remuneration that bears no resemblance to the value of cultural labor today. Artistic labor supports a multi-billion dollar industry and yet there are no standards, conventions or regulations for artist compensation. Artists provide a work force. As representatives of that work force W.A.G.E. refutes the positioning of the artist as a speculator and calls for the remuneration of cultural value in capital value.
