From Business schools to collectives of volunteers, the project-methodology inspired by managerial strategies has become an unquestioned norm of collective action, even among political activists. By excluding those who do not master its managerial jargon, this evolution tends to homogenize collective action, as top-down administrative practices tend to neutralize autonomous agency, in the very name of bottom-up practices. However, there are many forms of resistance and alternatives.
