The article addresses the question of reinventing of the common as a relational and differentiated work in which female subjectivity has an active role to play. It shows that this work of conquest, appropriation and reconstruction needs specific situations where it can be arranged, active spaces and persons, agents, subjects that are carriers of this reinvention. Based on observations drawn from the author’s experience as a member of the self-managed architect’s workshop, the article discusses this process of reinvention of the common which is also a process of collective re-subjectivation whose officers are, for the most part, women.
