European leftists have a special relationship with Latin America, part of an already long-standing history of ideological and militant circulations, reinforced around the 2010s. This article identifies some of the factors behind the emergence of this “new” Latin American moment for European leftists. It also invites us to shift the perspective, often focused on leaders, by paying particular attention to the ordinary spaces of political practice.
