Following successive decentralisation laws, the region has become a proven level for governance of vocational training in general. However, can we consider that the decentralisation of public policy in respect of training and the growth of knowledge needs in the territories have led to the emergence of a distinct and autonomous regional "statistical space" vis-à-vis national statistics? This article aims to offer some answers to this question. Following a description of the new issues and actors in this context, we demonstrate how a territorial approach to the training-employment relationship has emerged.
