A van criss-crosses Ukraine and Poland, sheltering Ukrainian families. At the wheel is Maciek Hamela, who volunteered in the aftermath of the Russian invasion. By filming inside the van, he extends a gesture of help, which gives the film its extraordinary documentary quality.
