After 1968, and in the wake of changes within the ARIP culminating in the conception of an analytic psychosociology, Connexions was founded at a moment of great intellectual effervescence when different orientations emerged as a result of lively exchanges and confrontations, in particular with Crozier and Sainsaulieu, with Lapassade and Lourau, or again with Anzieu and Kaës. The creation of the journal gave another dimension to these exchanges, a boost to the spirit of research, and a demand for rigor with regard to practice and clinical experience. This gamble was not without risks given the originality of the approach, as well as the non-conformism and openness to different approaches. This is also no doubt the reason for its continued existence and for the contemporary relevance of texts that were published a few decades ago. This dialogue between the two editors-in- chief at the origin of its foundation retraces its history.
