There are few texts by Freud on male homosexuality, which is generally reduced to being considered as a perversion. We shall show how, on the contrary, the theme concerns all structures, especially if we unpack the concept of “desistance.” We then need to distinguish between identification and choice of object and consider that the structure itself poses another series of problems.
