Que l’incarcération se révèle, pour un nombre important de sujets, propice à l’engagement dans un travail psychothérapique n’empêche pas que celui-ci reste foncièrement une gageure. Il s’agira dans cet article d’envisager ce que fait l’enfermement et le sceau dont il marque le fonctionnement psychique, ses effets sur le clinicien à partir du contre-transfert et les implications qui en découlent dans l’instauration du cadre thérapeutique.

From the detained body to the corpus delicti. A few figures of the clinical encounter in prison
Even if imprisonment appears to be, for a number of subjects, favourable to their commitment to psychotherapeutic work, it does not prevent it to from fundamentally remaining a challenge. This article aims to consider what imprisonment does, the seal it marks on the psychic functioning, the effects it has on the clinician, from his countertransference, and the implications resulting from it in the instauration of the therapeutic setting.
