Soazick Kerneis is Professor of Legal History at the University of Paris-Nanterre and Director of the Center for the History and Anthropology of Law. Her area of specialization concerns the practice of law in Late Antiquity, which she studies using popular sources (tiles inscribed in Gallic, judicial prayers, wooden tablets).
