Lecturer at the University of Grenoble Alpes. Specialist in the institutional history of ancient Rome (citizenship and civic life) and the transition period between the Roman Republic and the Empire, he is the author of a political biography of Augustus' advisor, Maecenas and the founding of the Empire (2016).
