Critic and novelist Claude Schopp (1943-) is a specialist on Alexandre Dumas, to whom he devoted his thesis in 1986, as well as numerous editions, prefaces, and works, including, with Marianne Schopp, Dumas fils ou l’anti-Œdipe (Dumas fils or the Anti-Oedipus), winner of the 2017 Prix Goncourt for biography.
