Big data and data have created new challenges, but also new opportunities for think tanks and think tankers, to which they must quickly adapt. Thus, these data can be considered as a performant assistant, which gathers information faster than any human being, at the same time as a basis for geopolitical analysis, but also for expanding a network. However, the profusion of data should not change think tanks’ priority mission: make the world more understandable, while keeping their intellectual independence.
