Migrations Société
Presentation
Founded in 1989, Migrations Société is a quarterly publication focusing on current migration issues and - as its name suggests - their implications for society. Social change in France and in countries affected by migration is sometimes silent, but human mobility is forging new and important social realities on a daily basis. The magazine draws its originality from a wide range of interdisciplinary approaches, in total freedom and ideological plurality, based on an international outlook that enables us to compare the experiences of different countries around the world. Migrations Société benefits from the documentary resources of the Centre d'information et d'études sur les migrations internationales (CIEMI). In its theoretical and methodological approaches, Migrations Société naturally integrates issues relating to multiculturalism, which is reflected not only in the contributions published by the magazine, but also in the composition of its scientific board, made up of personalities recognized for their competence and their academic, associative, social, religious, civic or media activities. These twenty-five people bring together sociological, historical, demographic, legal, economic, philosophical, militant, political, religious and journalistic approaches.
