About
Élise Massicard is a CNRS research director at the Centre de recherches internationales (CERI, Sciences Po/CNRS). Her work focuses on political sociology - the sociology of mobilization, public action, state-society relations and government intermediaries - with particular reference to Turkey. She is the author of several books in French, English and Turkish. The latest, Street-Level Governing, was published in 2022 by Stanford University Press.
Since 2023, she has been editor-in-chief of Critique Internationale.
