Asiem El Difraoui, PhD in political science, is a specialist in jihadism. His books include Al-Qaïda par l'image, Paris, PUF, 2013, and Le Djihadisme, Paris, PUF, 2016. He is co-founder of the Candid Foundation in Berlin and Paris, a think-and-do tank for Euro-Mediterranean dialogue.
