La régulation juridique et bioéthique des usages des éléments du corps humain peut être décrite à l’aide du concept de solidarité. A partir de l’exemple français, on peut ainsi montrer que l’Etat cherche à encadrer des solidarités qui existent déjà, par exemple entre personnes qui partagent un même génome, dans la famille, ou, à l’inverse, tente d’imposer ou d’orienter le partage des ressources biologiques humaines (organes, tissus, gamètes, cellule souches ...).

Chapter 7. The solidarity of the human bodies
The legal and bioethical regulation of the uses of the elements of the human body can be described by means of the concept of solidarity. From the French example, we can so show that the State tries to frame solidarities which already exist, for example between people who share the same genome, in the family, or, on the contrary, tent to impose or to direct the sharing of the human biological resources (organs, tissues, gametes, stem cell ...).
